Terms of Service

Welcome to MyImagineer! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our AI Storybook Generator, AI story generator, and AI storybook maker service. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Acceptable Use Policy. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Overview

MyImagineer provides AI-powered tools to create illustrated storybooks from a single prompt, including AI-generated images, story text, and optional voice narration. Our platform is designed for creators, storytellers, educators, and families who want visual storytelling—an AI story generator plus matching illustrations in a flipbook-style reader—without complex design software.

2. User Responsibilities

  • You must use the service in compliance with all applicable laws, these Terms, and our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • You are responsible for all prompts, uploads, generated content (including images, text, and audio), and anything you share using our platform.
  • You must not use the service to upload, generate, share, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, misleading, defamatory, or violates the rights of others.
  • You must not upload content that contains personal information of others without their consent.
  • You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, abuse, or exploit the service or its underlying technology.
  • You must not use the service in ways that promote hate, violence, discrimination, or misinformation.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

Your use of MyImagineer is subject to our full Acceptable Use Policy, which sets out content guidelines for AI-generated media on our platform. By using the service, you agree to comply with that policy.

You may not use MyImagineer to create, request, upload, generate, share, or distribute sexually explicit, pornographic, erotic, or otherwise NSFW (not safe for work) or adult content of any kind. This includes AI-generated illustrations, story text, voice narration, and any other outputs. Attempts to bypass content moderation to produce prohibited adult content are strictly forbidden.

Without limiting the above, you also agree not to use the service to:

  • Generate face-swap, deepfake, or voice-cloning content of real people without their explicit consent
  • Create content that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors
  • Produce content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, violent, or infringing
  • Circumvent moderation systems, usage limits, or access controls

We use automated and manual moderation to enforce these rules. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination. See our Acceptable Use Policy for full details.

4. Intellectual Property

  • All intellectual property rights in the MyImagineer service, including its software, user interface, and branding, are owned by us or our licensors.
  • You retain ownership of your original input content (your prompts and any inputs you provide). Generated outputs are licensed to you for lawful personal or commercial use as permitted below.
  • You grant us a limited license to process your input content solely for the purpose of providing the AI storybook generator service and supporting viewing, sharing, and account features.

5. License & Usage

  • We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service and enhanced outputs for lawful personal, educational, or commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
  • Commercial use may be subject to your plan limits or additional terms depending on your subscription. Contact us if you need higher limits for business or enterprise use.
  • You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service itself except as expressly permitted.
  • You may not use generated storybooks or images in ways that violate these Terms or applicable laws.
  • Attribution is appreciated but not required for most uses.

6. Service Availability & Changes

  • We strive to provide reliable, high-quality service, but availability may be affected by maintenance, updates, technical issues, or high demand.
  • We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, misuse of the service, or for any other reason we deem necessary.
  • Free users may experience queue delays during peak usage periods. Premium users receive priority processing.

7. Disclaimers

  • MyImagineer is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or perfect video generation results.
  • Generated stories and illustrations may not always meet your expectations, and automated generation may produce inaccuracies, artifacts, or inconsistent results.
  • We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or claims arising from your use of the platform or generated content.
  • The service may require review and minor edits depending on your quality standards and publishing requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from your use of the service.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for using the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not responsible for any output that is inaccurate or for issues caused by your source recording quality.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us and our affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, infringement of any rights, or misuse of outputs.

10. Subscription & Payment Terms

  • Subscription plans are billed according to the selected billing cycle (monthly or annually).
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for refund requests.
  • Credits and features are provided according to your subscription tier. Unused credits may expire based on your plan terms.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the service.
